The Fall of Goldshore
Goldshore is far-and-above a city of humans. Though it has the occasional visit from halflings, gnomes, dwarves, and elves, the resident population of the city is human by a factor of over 500 to 1.
The city's total population is, however, incredibly difficult to measure accurately due to the constant flux of visitors and residents involved in sea trade and other near-by communities. While a census has been attempted four times in the last 20 years (about once every 5 years) the results of each census have been highly inaccurate, as evidenced in some cases by certain individuals being counted two or even three times. Never-the-less it is widely agreed that the total population of Goldshore is in excess of 20,000, and that the average age of its residents tends toward early adulthood.
